Supported Formats

HelpdeskHero accepts the following image formats:

  • PNG — best for screenshots and images with text
  • JPG / JPEG — best for photographs and complex images
  • WebP — modern format with excellent compression
  • GIF — supports animated images

Image Storage

All images are stored on Cloudflare R2, a global object storage network. This means:

  • Fast loading times worldwide
  • No bandwidth limits on image delivery
  • Images persist even if you edit or move the article

Images uploaded through the editor are automatically optimized for web delivery. You do not need to compress them before uploading.

Branding Images

You can also upload images for your helpdesk branding:

  • Company Logo — displayed in the help center header
  • Favicon — the small icon shown in browser tabs

These are uploaded through Settings > Branding in your dashboard.

Deleting an article does not automatically remove its uploaded images from storage. The images remain available at their URLs.
