When visitors use the Ask AI feature in your widget, every question they ask is logged. The AI Questions page in your dashboard gives you visibility into what your visitors are asking, helping you improve your knowledge base.
Dashboard Overview
At the top of the AI Questions page, you will see key metrics:
- Total Questions — The total number of AI questions asked across all time
- Unique Questions — The number of distinct questions (filtering out duplicates)
- Latest — When the most recent question was asked
Popular Questions
The Popular Questions section shows the most frequently asked questions, ranked by how many times each has been asked. This is valuable for identifying:
- Topics your articles do not cover well enough
- Common pain points or confusion among your users
- Content gaps you should fill with new articles
Recent Questions
The Recent Questions feed shows the latest questions visitors have asked, with timestamps. This gives you a real-time view of what people are looking for right now.
Using Insights to Improve
Review your AI question data regularly to:
- Write new articles for topics that come up frequently but are not well covered
- Improve existing articles that are being referenced but may not fully answer visitor questions
- Add Quick Questions to your widget for the most popular queries, giving visitors one-click access to common answers
- Identify terminology your users actually use, and make sure your articles match their language
Data Retention
AI question data is retained for 30 days. Older questions are automatically cleaned up to keep your dashboard focused on recent, actionable insights.
